To our rather amateur-ish tatting blog.Allow us to introduce ourselves... We are Renette and Danielle, two mums who meet every second Monday morning in an effort to de-mundanise our lives.
Danielle had the brilliant idea of learning a new craft in order to do the homemade Christmas present thing this year and we chose tatting.
Tatting is a very old form of lacemaking and, since we discovered very little about it on the internet. There are a few YouTube videos, which were very helpful to us in learning exactly HOW to tat, but very very few patterns out there.
And so the plan is to actually start writing patterns. As you can see, it's a definite work in progress!But, watch this space!
